What are CBD Capsules?

Easy to take regularly for people who are accustomed to taking daily supplements or pills, our CBD capsules are the easiest way to integrate CBD into their daily routine. Offering more than powerful serving sizes, our Powerful CBD Capsules make measuring your daily CBD intake as easy as adding a serving of CBD to breakfast and again before bed.

CBD Oil Capsules and CBD Tablets

CBD Oil Capsules and CBD Tablets

Not all CBDs are created equal. Our CBD capsules are manufactured from start to finish with purity, potency and quality in mind. We use a broad and complete spectrum CBD extract; therefore, unlike some companies that only use part of the cannabis plant, these capsules contain the full spectrum of compounds that are naturally present in the hemp plant. The hemp oil in our CBD tablets is sourced from organically grown hemp from our state of the art farms in Kentucky, USA. No harmful chemicals. No random ingredients. Just the highest quality all-natural capsules that give you access to the full power of hemp.

What are CBD capsules?

While there are many different types of CBD (cannabidiol) products on the market, CBD capsules are fast becoming among the most popular due to their small, convenient size and the fact that they are easy to take. Familiar to those already on daily supplements like vitamin C or fish oil, CBD capsules are a great addition to any vitamin regimen if you need a little extra peace of mind.

There is also no serving table required for CBD capsules. Just take 1-2 times daily with meals and you are ready to go. As such, each capsule has been carefully designed to contain the exact amount of active full spectrum CBD you need for long-term health. If you’re looking for a CBD product without the hassle and fuss, CBD capsules are a great morning and evening companion.

With the minimal amount of THC in CBD capsules, you won’t experience the infamous “high” that is commonly associated with marijuana. This means there are no intoxicating ingredients in our CBD gel capsules, and while the hemp seed oil we use comes from the same plant family as marijuana, by law, our CBD products do not contain active amounts of THC. As a result, CBD capsules by their design can’t hurt you, making them a great addition to your day without worrying about losing control.

What is the Difference Between CBD Softgels?

What is the Difference Between CBD Softgels?

Fortunately, there is no difference between CBD capsules and CBD pills. In fact, they are synonymous with each other. However, the terms “soft gels”, “gel capsules” or “gel capsules” refer to a specific type of CBD capsule. Although capsules can vary in composition (e.g. CBD softgels can be made from gelatin for easier dissolution) compared to hard capsules or pills, both iterations contain CBD. And in the case of our CBD morning and night capsules, they both contain additional active ingredients and are vegan, unlike soft gel capsules (more on that later).

All about CBD Oil Capsules

While there are many CBD brands making CBD gel capsules, CBDfx has become the market leader in a relatively short time for a number of reasons. You can find many CBD capsules on the market, but the truth is, not all CBD capsules are created equal. And quality is our highest value. Here’s a quick overview of our process …

First, our crops are selected by a leading cannabis specialist. They are organically grown, pesticide-free and non-GMO to make sure your CBD is not exposed to any of the harmful pesticides, heavy metals, solvents, or chemicals commonly found in foods with less CBD.

Special Note: We do this because hemp is quite absorbent. This means that it can – and will – absorb all of the nutrients around it. And if the soil around it has been contaminated with pesticides or other chemical residues, this could jeopardize the quality of your product. At CBDfx, we cannot accept this lack of quality control, so from seed to sale, we ensure that everything that goes into your CBD product is as pure as possible.

After we separate the “good” plants from the “best” plants, we use a special CO2 extraction process. Why are we using this process? Because it is one of the best extraction methods for producing highly purified CBD in one of the purest and most gentle ways in the industry. Ok, when organic, highly purified hemp extract was extracted, now what?

We now combine it with the other ingredients of your favorite CBDfx products, which we create with the utmost quality and integrity, and quality guaranteed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This means that the facilities we used to manufacture our products are monitored to some of the strictest clinical grade standards and regulatory authorities in the industry.

Cannabidiol can be taken in multiple ways, including by inhalation of cannabis smoke or vapor, as an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied as CBD oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (excluding tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] or terpenes), CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, capsules, dried cannabis, or prescription liquid solution. CBD does not have the same psychoactivity as THC, and may change the effects of THC on the body if both are present. As of 2018, the mechanism of action for its biological effects has not been determined.

Once created, our products undergo rigorous laboratory tests for the slightest defects and impurities. This is done in a third party lab, and if we find any unusual test results, we will discard the entire batch and start over. And for added peace of mind, each of our products comes with a traceable QR code.

This means that all you have to do to know everything about your product is take out your phone camera and point it. The link that appears will take you to an accurate batch report of the product you are using, along with all the main ingredients inside it – you will also know where and when it was made. We also allow our customers to leave reviews using a standard star rating system so customers can see if our products are actually performing well.

Unfortunately, the CBD industry has become a gold rush for many potential companies looking to get into the market and make money fast. However, CBDfx has been in the industry for almost a decade, which means we like to do it from the books and not cut corners to get the highest quality product every time. With only a few countries in the world producing industrial-grade hemp with the quality and volume required to produce effective and healthy products, we are proud to say that our hemp is grown right here in Kentucky in the United States.

At CBDfx, we understand the role of what we put into our bodies has on our physical and mental health. We take this role seriously and that’s why we are taking such incredible steps to deliver the consistent, high-quality wellness you can count on.

Different Types of Best CBD Capsules

Different Types of Best CBD Capsules

During the CBD extraction process, the hemp plants we use are effectively ground into a thick, viscous oil containing all plants, natural cannabinoids, terpenes and essential nutrients. Once extracted, pure CBD is combined with a carrier oil to help bind it. The carrier oil we use here at CBDfx is Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) derived from coconut oil. The oil itself is vegan in nature and has many health benefits including beneficial fatty acids, healthy weight loss, improved heart health, and better energy production. When CBD is separated and combined with MCT oil, depending on what it contains, the oil will be separated into three different concentrations of CBD oil:

Full spectrum CBD

This is the type of CBD oil we use in our original CBD Soft Gel capsules. Full Spectrum CBD Oil is a CBD oil that has retained all of its additional phytocannabinoids (CBD-V, CBN, CBG, etc.) as well as the natural terpenes found in the hemp plant. This means you get the full essence of cannabis when you use a full spectrum of products – and all the benefits, including the “Entourage Effect” (more on that later).

Note. It is important to note that full spectrum hemp extract still contains trace amounts of THC *, however it is below the legal threshold of 0.3% **, so you will not experience the same intoxicating effect as the THC found in marijuana. Hemp is a subspecies of Cannabis Sativa L.

This type of CBD is used in our CBD + CBG morning capsules and CBD + CBN night capsules. Broad spectrum CBD contains all the additional cannabinoids and terpenes of the hemp plant, including the entourage effect. However, it does not contain detectable amounts of THC, and the content of the substance is usually below the threshold value of 0.01%.

The Best CBD Pills Isolate

This type of CBD is exclusively used in our CBD vape juices. CBD Isolate means the oil is pure CBD without the added benefits of cannabinoids or terpenes found in full and broad spectrum CBD. While the amount of THC in a CBD isolate is not absolute zero, it is virtually undetectable below 0.002% threshold.

  • Note. CBD is non-psychoactive and does not have the side effects commonly caused by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
** Note. Industrial hemp used in bulk CBD products must not contain more than 0.3% THC in accordance with the requirements of the federal government and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Things to Remember About CBD Oil

Things to Remember About CBD Oil

When you buy CBD, you should always pay attention to the type of CBD the oil is made from. While many CBD capsules contain full spectrum oil, this is not true for everyone. Although both full and broad spectrum CBDs contain nearly undetectable levels of THC, full spectrum CBD is known to cause false positive results in drug tests. So, if you need to take an upcoming drug test, be careful using the full spectrum of CBD ahead of time.

Advantages and Disadvantages of CBD Pills

Let’s start with the pros: CBD pills are convenient – they’re also vegan in the case of our morning and night capsules. With our CBD Capsules (750 and 1500 mg), you can simply take one or two tablets to get your daily serving of CBD, which is designed to provide soothing relief throughout the day.

However, the downside of CBD pills is that they require a certain level of adherence when you take them. Since CBD will enter your bloodstream through your stomach, once their membranes begin to dissolve and activate, you will feel all the effects of your CBD as long as they last. This is pretty much helpful, but for those who want to be in their normal state of mind before an event, class, or work, they won’t be able to combat the effects of CBD.

Are CBD Capsules Vegan?

Yes, our CBD + CBG morning capsules and CBD + CBN night capsules are vegan and gluten-free. These capsules not only use non-GMO and CO2 organic cannabinoid oils, as well as additional ingredients that are completely vegan, but their outer shell is also vegan. Moving away from the usual CBD soft gels, which uses animal by-products in gelatin, we’ve created two effective capsules that will last you day and night. Our ethical CBD capsules are perfect for any diet.

Bioavailability is a term that describes the effectiveness of a substance in terms of its ability to be absorbed into the bloodstream. And it’s important to note that different CBD products have different levels of bioavailability. For example, CBD tinctures are believed to have a high level of bioavailability because the oil readily enters your bloodstream under the tissue of your tongue.

In contrast, topical CBD drugs have a lower bioavailability level due to the fact that they have to travel through the top layer of your skin to enter your bloodstream.

Once CBD enters the bloodstream and reaches your body’s endocannabinoid system, it sends a series of signals to receptors in your brain. These receptors – the CB1 and CB2 receptors – then begin to encode specific physiological responses in the body that confer the health benefits that CBD users have assessed.

What about CBD Pills for Pain?

We mentioned this above, but terpenes are essentially aromatic flavonoids that are naturally found in a wide variety of organic materials (fruit peels, flowers, tree bark, essential oils, etc.). The benefit of terpenes is that these beneficial little chemicals not only affect the taste of your CBD products, but they can have their own physiological effects through aromatherapy.

Combined with the natural benefits of CBD, this could mean a sense of multi-layered functionality where both CBD and terpenes work together to express specific benefits to the body. Today, cannabis plants contain over 200 known terpene compounds, with a total of over 20,000 terpenes. Here’s an overview of some of the best terpenes used in CBD …

  • Limonene. Limonene is a terpene found in many citrus fruits. It can enhance your CBD experience by helping to increase your overall absorption of other terpenes.
  • Pinen. Pinene, found in pine, eucalyptus, orange peel and rosemary, has been used as a natural anti-inflammatory for centuries; dates back to ancient Chinese medicine.
  • Linalool. Linalool is found in mild flowering plants such as lavender and chamomile, which, due to their aromatic properties, can provide a soothing sensation.
  • Humulen. Humulene is found in hops, sage, basil, echinacea, ginger, which gives them a persistent smell.

CBD Swallowing

This absorption method comes from eating or consuming CBD through food (such as CBD chewing gum). The advantage of this absorption method is that you get the full effect of CBD as it is completely absorbed into your digestive system. It also lasts the longest among CBD absorption methods. The downside, however, is that after you’ve consumed CBD oil, you cannot “quit” it, and you will feel its effects for the next few hours.

Topical Application CBD

Topical Application CBD

CBD topical remedies are CBD creams, CBD foot masks, and other CBD applications. The principle of these methods is that they penetrate the layers of the skin, relieving inflammation and, in some cases, minor pain. The advantage of CBD themed content is that it is familiar to the user. Most people have used a lotion or other body cream to moisturize or relieve muscle fatigue. Likewise, topical CBD materials act in a similar way while providing additional benefits that can only be found in CBD.

CBD Orally

For many experienced CBD users, this is one of the more traditional methods of consuming CBD. Oral ingestion is usually in the form of drops of CBD tincture. The advantage of this method is that it can also activate quickly, although not as fast as CBD vaping. Simple and versatile, CBD oil tinctures can be a great addition to any smoothie or beverage, while still maximizing absorption by the body.

CBD Vaping

We’ve talked about this before and will say it again: vaping combines the flavor of your favorite candies and foods with the fast-acting benefits of CBD. So, it’s hard to resist the charm of a good vape juice. Add to that the fact that you have more control over the duration of the effects of your CBD benefits and you have a great recipe for fast AND long lasting wellness. Here are a few of our CBD capsules to get you started …

Original CBD Soft Gel Capsules!

Filled with rich, organic full spectrum CBD oil, our original softgels contain 25 or 50 mg of hemp oil. To emphasize convenience and simplicity, simply take 1-2 tablets every morning and enjoy the benefits for the rest of the day. Getting your daily dose of calm has never been easier with the power of CBD at your fingertips. Add this bottle of high quality capsules to your vitamin regimen and enjoy CBD the old fashioned way.

We’ve also added coconut-derived MCT oil to each capsule as an added bonus to provide you with the vital nutrients your body needs – nutrients that some research has shown can increase the bioavailability of CBD.

Tinctures are not suitable for everyone, and looking at an oil dropper every morning can be like in a science lesson. Fortunately, our serving of softgels contains 25 or 50 mg of high quality, organically grown CBD oil to make it easier than ever to get your daily CBD.

CBD + CBG Morning Capsules

CBD + CBG Morning Capsules

Perfect for breakfast, our Vegan CBD + CBG Morning Capsules will give you all the energy and focus you need to seize the day. Our CBD and CBG morning capsules, extracted from CO2, non-GMO, vegan and 100% organic, are formulated to bring you all the benefits of CBD (improved mental and physical calmness) and CBG (increased alertness and energy), plus the desired “entourage effect”.

The “entourage effect” is a case where different cannabinoids work in tandem to provide more pronounced benefits to the body. These capsules are also combined with invigorating slow-release caffeine and the amino acid L-Tyrosine to boost physical energy and focus throughout the day.

What is CBG Oil?

CBG occurs naturally in hemp at a 1:20 ratio (CBG / CBD). This means that you need 20 times the hemp crop to produce one part of CBG. As a result, it’s fair to say that CBG, otherwise known as the “maternal cannabinoid,” is quite rare compared to the amount of CBD available. However, by combining the properties of CBD oil pills and the super-enhancing benefits of CBG, the latter works to interact directly with receptors in the brain, creating an entourage effect and improving your overall health benefits.

CBD + CBN Night Capsules

We call them nightcaps, but in truth, they are the perfect “nightcaps” before bed. Thanks to the natural sedative properties of CBD and CBN, our Vegan CBD + CBN Night Capsules take immediate action to help calm your mind and body, making your sleep more restful and relaxing.

Featuring non-GMO CO2 extracts, vegan and 100% organic CBD and CBN oils, our overnight capsules provide maximum total body relief, immersing your brain in a state of deep calm. Working together to create an entourage effect, these soothing properties are further enhanced. Finally, these capsules contain many beneficial sleep-enhancing ingredients that have been shown to be historically effective in promoting easier, more restful sleep.

What is CBN?

What is CBN?

It’s okay not to be that familiar with the various cannabinoids in cannabis. There are a decent amount of them, and if you are not a CBD enthusiast, you have probably never heard of CBN. However, if you have trouble sleeping or just want to experience a deeper sense of calmness, you should learn about CBN. We call this the “Maximum Relaxation Cannabinoid”.

CBN is a naturally occurring THC derivative that is produced as THC ages, and when formed, CBN is a chemical known to have an increased calming effect on the body and mind. This means lighter nights sleep, daytime sleep and a greater feeling of coldness for your overall well-being. Like CBG, CBN interacts with key receptors in the brain to create a sedative-like state of calm in the body. Result? You are ready for a good night’s sleep.

CBD Oil: The Role of Sleep in Health

In the United States, more than 27% of Americans have some form of sleep disturbance. Unfortunately, sleep deprivation ultimately translates into increased levels of anxiety, depression, and aggression. Sleep is critical to our physical and mental health, and when we don’t get it, our bodies and mind stop working the same way. If you frequently toss and turn and don’t feel like taking prescription sleeping pills, try our night capsules. They not only contain many natural and beneficial ingredients, but they also have no prescription drug side effects and are non-addictive.

CBD Oil: Healthy Plants for Better Sleep

Composed of Valerian Root, GABA, Magnesium and a proprietary blend of terpenes, our night capsules contain a variety of natural sleep-enhancing ingredients that soothe the mind and tire the body before bed. This makes it easy to fall asleep and get more restful and invigorating sleep.
